Video Blog Postings Delayed
By Jeffery Wood | October 3, 2009
Hi guys,
First I’d like to apologize for the many, many updates you received by mail by the blog while I tried to get the video portion working. I had forgotten that the blog doesn’t just notify you of new blog posts, but of changes to the existing ones as well and so several got away before I caught it.
This brings us back to the video part. Those of you who are a little quicker on the draw probably thought, “Hey! He said I could watch or listen or read posts from now on and all there is here is words!!”
Correct you are my friend. I ran into a couple of issues, like the fact that my camera records video…….30 seconds at a time. How am I supposed to do a video post with THAT? Multiple videos of 30 second duration? I toyed with the idea (briefly) of breaking my posts into 30 second sections and using a video editor to paste them together. In other words, way too much work.
Now I can do audio, but I haven’t decided on that yet. I’m frustrated right now that I can’t really do the video thing until I buy a camera that records video until either I stop it or it runs out of memory. Stupid technology anyhow.
