Time Management Implementation – Part One

This will be fairly short. I wanted to update you on a couple of problems I’ve encountered that I didn’t plan on.
One is sleep. My graveyard job is very physical and now that we are coming into season the work is more difficult. Staying up until 10 then getting ready for bed and being in bed by 11 is taking it’s toll. This morning I fell asleep sitting at the computer listening to an interview I really thought would be useful. Not only that I already slept through one afternoon session and the next day I slept through half of another. My daily task list included adding contact information to all blogs and websites, listening to that interview and things like that.
Well, it’s taken me 3 days to accomplish what was on one day’s itenerary and I’m not quite done, almost, but not quite. E-mail is taking way too much time but I’m not sure what can be done about that. Long gone are the days of spending hours sitting on MySpace waiting for someone to write me or update their status. Now it’s all I can do to Twitter once or twice and Facebook.
Yeah, it’s going great…not. In any case I’ve already worked past what I’m supposed to, I am only supposed to work tomorrow morning and take the afternoon off. Sigh.
